Rodgers custom church organ goes to Boca Grande Church

This week marks the completion of another custom Rodgers Infinity organ.  Congratulations to Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church in Boca Grande, FL for their newly installed custom 3-manual Rodgers Instruments organ console with 18-channels of audio and a gorgeous non-speaking facade from Fratelli Ruffatti Pipe Organ Builders, Padova Italy.  The hand-carved case echoes the church’s carved doors and the Rodgers cabinetry. Special thanks to Fr. Anthony Hewitt and Music Director Jody Wolters for their confidence in us.

Our Lady of Mercy only seats about 80 people(!), but the elegant 18-channel audio system is scaled properly for the space and provides incredible sound quality. The trebles are crisp and you can hear every nuance of the pipes. The bass is astounding and reaches down to 11-hertz (note F in the 64′ range)!
