Concert Announcement: The Cathedral of Saint Jude – February 6th
Whether in a prestigious venue like Carnegie Hall, Royal Albert Hall, Cathedral of Notre Dame in Paris, Constitution Hall, Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles, or in conjunction with a celebrated event like the Olympic games or the Classical Newport Music Festival, the most sophisticated and demanding organ aficionados claim that Maestro Hector Olivera is without a doubt, ‘one of the greatest organists in the world today.’
Maestro Olivera will be playing the recently installed Rodgers Infinity 4-manual organ at the Cathedral of Saint Jude the Apostle. This is the same model (Infinity 484) that Hector uses on tour around the country and around the world. The installation was designed by Central Music, Inc. and features 10-ranks of pipework from Fratelli Ruffatti.
If you have never heard Hector play, or if you’ve been curious about the beautiful renovations at the Cathedral, this is a concert you cannot miss.
