St John XXIII Catholic Church Receives a New Infinity 489!

After a catastrophic lightning strike that wiped out the church’s fire alarm/security system, the electronic carillon, and the 3-manual Rodgers organ among other things, the staff at St John XXIII Catholic Church in Ft. Myers, Florida needed help.  Shortly after the event, the team at Central Music arrived with a temporary organ and audio equipment to fill the huge 1,800 seat worship space.  After some deliberation and discussions with the insurance company a new 4-manual Rodgers Infinity Series 489 was selected as the replacement.

A powerful new balanced line audio system and robust, non-sacrificial surge protection were understandably important, but it was the beautiful sound of Rodgers that was the most important factor.
